Eng. Edward Kinyua, is currently the Petroleum and Gas Director. He is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to ensure effective regulation of the petroleum sub-sectors in Kenya. He holds a Master of Science in Energy Management from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Moi University.

Eng. Kinyua has a wealth experience in the energy sector spanning over 14 years in various organizations including Total Kenya Limited. He is a registered professional Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) and is a corporate member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK).
