Eng. Boniface Kinyanjui leads EPRA’s Electricity and Renewable Energy Directorate, providing strategic oversight for the regulation and development of Kenya’s electricity sub-sector.

He joined EPRA in 2024, bringing more than 25 years of experience in power systems engineering and electricity operations. From 1998 to 2024, he advanced through technical and managerial positions at Kenya Power, culminating as Chief Engineer.

Eng. Kinyanjui holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering. His expertise in power system management supports EPRA’s goals of reliable, efficient, and sustainable electricity services across Kenya.
